LG0975 This is Norinco's tribute to the highly desirable Winchester 97 World War I Trench Gun. This shotgun was manufactured in China and imported by Interstate Arms in Massachusetts. We have sold a good many of its mates locally over the past 20 years, and they are fine shotguns. The copy is better than the original, due to advances in metallurgy. All metal finish is faithful streaked bright blue with heat shield and bayonet lug. M&P Buttstock and traditional corn cob forend are 100% genuine American Walnut, just like the originals. Barrel is 20 inch cylinder bore, and capacity is 4 + 1 shells, 2 3/4 inch only. Weight is 7 pounds empty, and safety mechanism is a single action type hammer on the order of the original 1897 Winchesters. Since this 97T’s new mates are bone dry and impossible for us to get at press time, here is one we got from one of our dealer friends. It has never been sold or fired since it left the factory, but we do not have its box, and surface detractions only amount to faint edge whitening on its slide arms and magazine tube; and on its hammer and bolt edges from shopper inspection operation. We rate it as Near Mint, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Replacement pricing on a mint condition original Winchester would probably approach $5,000.00. These well made replicas normally command prices in our area upwards of $600 apiece. We’re offering the exact shotgun in the photos, however, for only $ 419.00.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $50 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, UPS Ground with full insurance coverage.
