Here is the slickest, smoothest Taurus we’ve had in the past few years. From a Pennsylvania Estate comes this attractive model 85 snub in Bright Stainless finish. From its PE70000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1997. Manufacturer is Forjas Taurus of Porto Alegre Brazil, and Importer and warrantor is Taurus International of Miami. Construction is entirely steel metal. Finish is polished Bright stainless steel, with hard chrome hammer, trigger, and thumb latch cylinder release; and Uncle Mike’s black rubber Boot Grip. The Boot Grip, of course, will accommodate a 36A Speedloader. Barrel is one piece 2 inch full lug, six groove right hand 1:18.75 rifling. Sights are barrel integral .132 serrated ramp front sight. Rear sight is frame integral fixed notch. Note that the barrel and frame top are matte stainless for diminished glare. Hammer is MIM type .325 short serrated spur, satin finish with matching .300 smooth faced combat trigger. Cylinder capacity is 5 rounds of .38 Smith & Wesson Special caliber ammunition, including +P loads, like the Remington Golden Saber in some of our photos. Ammunition is NOT included. Ignition is flat faced hammer against floating firing pin. The Taurus 85 has a transfer bar internal safety device. It does Not have a hammer lock like its current production successors. Weight empty is 22 ounces, with center of gravity at the rear cylinder face. This revolver comes to us from the Estate of a distinguished Pennsylvania Matron. Surface detractions are negligible, only occasional faint edge and cylinder face buffing, but really no more cylinder rotation marking than brand new specimens one might see on display in a gun store. We rate it as Excellent in Box, perhaps Near Mint. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. Trigger pull is exceptional, both in single and double action. Double action pull is a smooth light 8 pounds; and single action is a very light 2 1/4 pounds with negligible felt creep and overtravel. Trigger rebound is somewhat weak, but that is the price of an action like this Taurus has. Hammer travels an additional 5 degrees after the cylinder times into place, in all five positions on double action. On single action, hammer travels fully 25 degrees on all five after the cylinder times. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap measures a perfect .007. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap is negligible; this revolver may very well be unfired. It is in its original box with protective papers and padding, instruction manual, and a never executed factory registration card. We’re offering this pristine, custom tuned Taurus 85 for only $ 319.00.
Not transferable to civilian residents of California, the District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. Any ammunition or personnel in our photos are Not included.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
