This listing is Aguila's counterpart to Remington UMC 9mm Hollowpoints, a 117 grain jacketed hollow point bullet loaded in top-of-the line Aguila brass cases with sure-firing primers and clean burning powder. The bullet’s contour, visible in the photos, enables it to feed in old models like the old 59 and 459 series Smith & Wessons, ancestors to the Mississippi domiciled 5906 Adjustable in the photos that is not included, of course. These work better than sharp edged loads like the Federal Hydra Shok and Winchester PD loads in older guns; and they work as well as anybody’s hollowpoint. Factory spec velocity from a 5 inch barrel Beretta is still a respectable 1115 feet per second, and muzzle energy rates at 324 foot pounds. 9mm Hollowpoints that are really no better than these, have recently commanded prices upwards of $60 for boxes of 50.
