Here's a 19th century sporter that was expertly done. Caliber is 11mm Mauser (11.15 x 60R) Barrel is 22.5" in length, nicely crowned and fitted with a tall beaded sight that allows center bull hits at 100 yards. The tubular magazine holds 3 rounds. 85% of the original blue is still remaining on the barrel, the bore is bright with sharp rifling. The stock is oil finished. Receiver is marked Amberg arsenal and dated 1888. The bolt and receiver are matched. With Bell brass and a .445 dia Lyman lubed and sized 340gr cast bullet and Reloader #7 this rifle will shoot 1 1/2 to 2" groups all day!!! A great whitetail rifle! This great little rifle is an antique. No ffl is required!
