Description: Here is the smallest, arguably the best, double action .45 compact on the market, the Taurus PT745 Pro Millennium. Taurus has taken Glock's basic designs and improved upon them, most notably in the area of safeties. This Taurus PT745 has a positive locking thumb safety for right-handed shooters; more important, it comes with Taurus's patented internal lock system and two keys. The Taurus, furthermore, has smoother lines and smoother surfaces than its competitor, note the beveled top of the frame – nowhere near as Box-y as the Glock. Whereas a person has to get one of the rather unwieldy, fattening Hogue slip-on grips to get a positive control feel to the Austrian Company's products, the Brazilians at Taurus have incorporated a very comfortable positive-gripping lower frame with better contour and extensive serrations that allow the shooter to conduct protracted firing sessions with positive grip control. Sighting system is the quick-resolution Heinie Straight-Eight, and both front and rear sights are drift adjustable for windage. This Taurus does not depend upon a slide activated sear in order for the trigger to work as on the Glock; the Taurus's trigger works independently on its own for positive, sure firing in every shot and in every condition. Rifling in the Taurus's bore is conventional groove and land, and a person can shoot any type of bullet, steel, lead, or jacketed, without fear of the barrel bursting. Not so with Glock. Equally crucial, too, the Taurus PT-745 comes with blue steel bodied magazines for positive slide stop engagement and quick-reloading free-fall ejection. Highly important in today's economic climate, the Taurus is almost $200 cheaper than its Glock competitors. The Taurus weighs in at only 22 ounces empty. With the 1.052 thin size grip frame and 3 1/4 inch barrel combined with Taurus's superior grip frame structure, this PT745 Millennium Pro will perform well and withstand sustained fire, even in adverse conditions. Factory product code is 1-745039. Slide is matte blue, and does not glare in daylight conditions. This particular 745 comes to us from one of our fellow civilian McNairy County Tennesseans. It has been carried very little, and fired even less. Shoppers be advised that this is not a pleasant little target pistol, it is the smallest viable .45 Auto on the market. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint hints of edge whitening on the slide. We rate it as Excellent, Near Mint in Box, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. It is in its original box with both magazines and keys to its internal lock. Replacement pricing on these .45 Compacts in our area ranges upwards of $500 apiece. We're offering this one, however, for only $ 339.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of Massachusetts.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
