All of us respect and admire the classic 870 Police shotguns configured as they were in the 1950s and 1960s with serrated forends that we refer to as Corn-cob type. Those older shotguns, however, were 2 3/4 inch chambered only. By the time of the Reagan Era, law enforcement was demanding military style configuration in their shotguns. Recent specimens of the 870 Police have black synthetic stocks, many of them Davis Speed Feed type. This one is a transitional model from the Elder Bush's era with Special Purpose finish that is much like the classic shotguns of the World Wars and Vietnam: OD tint durable parkerized metal and Special Purpose treated hardwood stock and classic M&P forend on the Corncob order. This 870 Police Magnum is in its original 7 + 1 configuration with factory Remington Parkerized magazine extension and swivel stud magazine brace installed. Date code year is L, 1991; and this shotgun has spent its law enforcement and security career serving and protecting our fellow Americans in Jackson, Mississippi. It has been carried more than it has been fired; the shell carrier or floorplate has very faint streaking from shell insertion, and that part's finish is full strength blue steel. Note that the Department Division number 8 is etched on the receiver bottom in front of the shell carrier. Operation whitening to the blued steel bolt is only moderate. We estimate that this 870 P has been fired fewer than 200 times in its entire career, usually 10 shots per year for annual qualification, 5 slugs and 5 buckshot according to Tennessee-Mississippi Peace Officers Association recommendation. Handling and contact indications on the surface are omoderate, with light scouring here and there to the parkerized finish and to the treated hardwood. We classify this 870 P as Very Good finishwise, since we estimate that 80 percent of its original finish is intact. Photos, at any rate, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Slide arms exhibit minimal receiver contact wear. Specs are: named model Remington 870 Police Magnum, slide action repeating shotgun with manual right-hand trigger safety and disconnector lever. Barrel is 20 inch Rem-Choke with .708 constriction Improved Cylinder Choke Tube. Sights are parkerized steel 700 type, fully windage and elevation adjustable. Weight empty is 7 1/2 pounds. Capacity is 7 + 1 standard 2 3/4 inch shells or 6 + 1 three inch shells. Replacement price on similarly equipped current production 870 P shotguns is over $600 apiece wholesale. We offering this attractive, solid 870 P Magnum, however, for only $ 319.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
