It was made in Solingen, Germany when Bulldog knives were manufactured there. Since Mr. Parker's passing, Bulldog Knives has moved to Chattanooga, TN and is called Bulldog USA. This knife is a 3-blade Sowbelly Stockman model with stainless blades. The back side of the main blade is etched "Prototype." The handle material is Mastodon Ivory, which is certainly no longer made. Mr. Parker had only one these prototype knives made for future production consideration. After his passing the knife was not put into production. This is the only one of these knives with this handle material that exists. The knife includes a factory Certificate of Authenticity indicating it is the "Prototype." Now that the company is Bulldog USA, this knife will not be produced in the German factory. This is an opportunity to purchase the most rare "one of a kind" knife. USA sales and shipping only.
