This is a venerable old 2nd model made in 1882 (serial #854xx), with screwed on dust cover rail, though missing the dust cover. It has seen a hard life but is in shooting condition with a decent bore and strong rifling. The butt stock is a little chewed at the toe and the butt plate is missing it's tip, but the wood is solid and serviceable. The fore stock is in good shape. The upper tang has an extra mounting screw hole and exactly 1/2 inch has been cut from the muzzle. It has a reversible bead Marbles front sight. This old war horse has a lot of life left. We will consider partial trade for M71 Winchester. This gun is an antique, no FFL required. We can take VISA or MasterCard for an additional 4% fee. Will consider trades for U.S. gold and silver coins at spot value.
