He made a prototype to take around to knife shows and see how they were accepted by the buying public. He passed on before this prototype model could be put into production. All Bulldog knives are hand forged, hand made knives. There are over 240 hand operations in each knife. This is a "One of three" prototype with Apple Coral handles. There are 3 blades. The main blade is reverse frost etched with the Pit Bulls trade mark. The back side of the blade is etched, "Prototype." Opened knife is 5 1/2 inches long. Main blade is 2 1/2 inches long. Knife comes with a certificate of authenticity. I am a private, retail seller, not a wholesaler. My item is already priced at my BEST, LOWEST price.
