It appears to be original blue, the barrel has been drilled for scope mounts, and receiver is a nice browning blue in very good to excellent finish. The gun has an interrupted thread take down feature, which allows cleaning from the rear of the barrel and packs nicely. The barrel has a few spots where the bluing has been buffed, but is in nice shape overall. The gun shoots and functions very well. The bore is nice. Numbers match and lettering is clear. No rust or pitting. The wood is very nice, re-varnished, with a dowelled repair in the wrist. Overall the gun is a very nice gun for hunting, finish is very good, excellent for it's age. If perfect it would be worth $900.00, will sell for $400.00 USPS money order accepted. Please contact for additional information and pictures.
