Bore is shinny with no visible pitting at all. The Rec. retains approx. 75% bright blue with most loss due to honest carry wear. The hammer and lever retain most CC's with the loss on the lever on the underside. Abolutely gorgeous feathercrotched straight grip checkered stock that could go on any M-21 to checkered shotgun plastic buttplate. The wood is in exc condition with no major dings or cracks same for the forearm. Checkering is still sharp. Just an exceptional 1886 Deluxe thats totally honest and would dress up any collection. Factory records show shipment made Aug. 3rd 1903 and state the following: rifle, .33, plain trigger, fancy checkered stock, half magazine, shotgun rubber buttplate, oil finish, takedown.
