This is a complete OD Green Canvas Cleaning Kit, a mate to many identical ones issued to our soldiers during World War II, Korea, and even Vietnam. It includes the three piece cleaning rod, carbine oiler and case, marked Case, Cleaning Rod, M1 / C6573. This is a correct and appropriate accessory for any collectors of U.S. Carbines or even Garands, 1917, or 1903 rifles since many of them were in service in World War II.
