Action is slide action pump with double slide bars; barrel length is 20 inch cylinder bore with 3 inch chamber; capacity is 8 + 1 for 2 3/4 inch shells, and 7 + 1 for 3 inch magnum loads; high impact black synthetic forend and serrated pistol grip. Weight empty is the characteristic light Mossberg 5 3/4 pounds. This specimen is what we call a factory demo, a showpiece for Mossberg’s sales team that has been in Mossberg Corporate custody until we got it. Any surface detractions are negligible, simply from show handling. It is in its factory box, or re-box, with instruction manual and factory cable lock. It carries a six month factory warranty. Replacement price on this shotgun in our area, if a person can even find one, is upwards of $600.00. The Remington 870 Marine is even about $100 higher than that.
