This Sixth-Engineering-Change L Frame snub has the strengthened frame, beveled thumb latch, internal lock, and Case Colored Barrel is traditional full lug one piece 2 1/2 inch. MIM Hammer and Trigger with floating firing pin. Hammer is, of course, .375 serrated spur, and the trigger is .312 smooth combat. Hammer is flat face to mate the floating firing pin. This is the conventional 6 round cylinder capacity, .357 Magnum and .38 Special interchangeably S&W product code 164231. Construction, with the exception of selected internal parts and the sights, is entirely stainless steel.
