"Rare" Framed Exploded Live 45/100 Sharps Cartridge recovered from the 1876 Custer's Battlefield at the Little Bighorn. The Professionally framed and double matted exploded live Sharps 45/100 caliber cartridge recovered from the Pistch farm, located on the site of the Reno Battlefield portion of the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Framed together with Certificate of Authenticity stating that this torn and broken live cartridge was found at the location of the Timber fight in the Indian Scout area on Reno Battlefield in 1995 and to have been legally collected. Certificate signed by Jason Pitsch, President of the Reno Battlefield Museum. Framed and matted under glass. The back with glazed map of the battlefield, marking the location of artifact recovery. Size: 16 1/2-inches X 16-inches. Sold with a copy of a letter from the United States Department of the Interior/ Bureau of Land Management stating this artifact was legally obtained.
