Description: Here is a solid Black Walnut no.1 carriage. It is 9/32 in scale, which is just a little bigger than 1/4 scale. The 16" wheels are made from Cherry wood with Walnut hubs and are banded with steel. All of the hardware is hand made from steel as well. All has been coated with polyurethane to bring out the rich, deep natural grain of the wood as you may be able to see in the pictures. The Oak hardwood ramrod and sponge are also included with this auction.

This carriage is extremely well built, and should provide many years of service, as well as being a rather nice looking display piece for your barrel.

It measures 2 feet wide by almost 3 feet long by 16 inches high. The distance between the cheek plates is 3 1/2" and are made for 3/4" trunnions. {Spacers can be added to increase the distance between cheek plates.}

The barrel shown in picture is for size reference only, and is not included in this listing. It's made from wood anyhow.

Any 3" diameter barrel with a taper, from 16-18" in length, with 3/4" trunnions, should fit this carriage.

I personally make each and every cannon carriage I sell. I can make custom sizes from 1/16 scale up to 1/3 scale, or to fit from a 4.25" barrel up to a 23" +/- long barrel.
