Description: A really nice A grade Fox extractor with 26" Utica Chromax barrels choked Imp Cyl/Full, attractive double Ivory beads, double trigger, 14" LOP to buttplate, half round pistol grip stock, sliver forend and exceptional wood and checkering. All numbers match. The gun locks up tight and there is no looseness at the hinge pin. The wood was professionally redone and expertly checkered and inlet to the gun. The checkering is exquisite. The metal is origional and has not been reblued. A member of the Fox Collectors association kindly looked up the card and determined the gun was made with 26" barrels, #3 weight and a half pistol grip stock and 14" LOP and sent to Clapp & Treat in West Hartford, CT in 1938.

This would make a fast handling upland bird gun and heirloom gift. Reminds me of the Bernedelli Hemingway configuration.
