Very nice Husquvarna with a unique sort of walnut stock with some flame throughout. Shows some dings on the forearm, but no cracks, except the characteristic toe crack which was pined and glued long ago.
Parker Hale trigger, side safety, and spoon bolt handle added aftermarket. Drilled and tapped for military type side scope mount.
Mauser 98 action is super tight with addition of these items.
blue is about 90%, bore in very good with some scratches. Other than the uniqueness of the stock's wood is the addition of a bear head in classic Scandinavian fashion on the end of the grip. If you've ever been to Scandinavia, or seen things from there they have a hand carving tradition and this is a classic representation of it. Freeform smoking pipes, drinking cups etc come out of this tradition.
Butt could use a little more grinding flat, but I didn't want to lose the 14" lop. Plate shows very little wear. I ground it down a bit and added a leather recoil pad under the original rubber one. No locking screws for action.
