THIS GUN COMES DIRECTLY OUT OF A BARN IN MASSACHUSETTS. Gun remains in good, functioning condition. CIVIL WAR ERA! 20” barrel remains good with surface wear; patina; oxidation. Bore is good and retains traces of original rifling. Receiver matches barrel in patina and wear. Falling block action works as it should. Hammer cocks back and fires strongly. Saddle ring intact. Furniture is good showing moderate handling wear. I have only lightly gone over this with a lightly oiled rag to bring out some of the marking. This rifle remains uncleaned, exactly as it was found when pulled from a Massachusetts barn.
