I say "Used, As New", because the original Remington, "8-44" marked barrel has never been fired. Was fully coated in Cosmoline, inside grease paper wrap. The barrel was installed and headspaced by a professional gunsmith. A new, reproduction barrel for this rifle cost over $200, and this one is the real deal from WWII. The balance of the rifle is very nice with "FJA" cartouche (Col. Frank J. Atwood, Chief Inspector, along with the Ordnance Wheel and a number of other sub-inspector's stamps. The wrist bears the "P" proof stamp. Besides being a grand collector piece, this rifle will likely be a tack driver. More details and photos upon request. None firing, no swap out parts, three day return privilege.
Buyer pays $39 shipping and insurance to the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii pay actual, weighed shipping cost.
