Here are some authentic West German Police Holsters from the waning years before President Reagan ended the Cold War, for the P-38 Walther Pistols. These are surplus from the Federal German Police, the Bundespolizei, and they came in alongside a good many very nice German Walther P1 and P38 pistols we received last year, and that we have for sale on three electronic venues. These all are of excellent construction, .150 or more thickness of authentic West German Cow, not Chinese nylon. These come to us in surplus Ziploc packages, and they are all in mint condition, never used and never issued. Even though these are not period correct for World War II Walthers, they're better than no holster at all for the older guns, and they will soften up with some use and oiling. These holsters fit a 5900 type Smith & Wesson very well, in addition to many other pistols; and they proved superior protection for outdoor use in briar thickets. The full coverage flap securely anchors with the military type stud apparatus, and the single magazine pouch sewn on the front area will hold a good many different varieties of single-stacked magazines.
