Star Echeverria in Spain held high standards of quality for their 8 decades in the Pistol Manufacturing business, enough so that their guns will be around when all of us are gone. Law Enforcement and Military Officers worldwide have carried and used Stars. Our present stock of them came to us from the Israeli Civilian police. Sadly, no factory Star magazines have been produced now for 15 years, so we were happy to find the handful that ProMag had left in their inventory to fit the Firestar Plus, especially since we had a half dozen Israeli issue pistols with no magazines. Manufacturer on these magazines was Pro-Mag Industries of South Gate CA. Construction is blued steel scored body that cannot be modified to hold more than 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition. Spring is steel, floorplate and catridge follower are high impact black polymer. Each magazine holds up to 10 rounds of 9mm Luger caliber ammunition – 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, 9mm NATO, call it what you will, THE 9mm. This magazine will only fit a Firestar Plus pistol whose magazine well will accept a double staggered, .800 inch wide magazine. It will not fit a single line Firestar M43 pistol, will not fit a Bersa, will not fit the valve handle of a 19th Century French Bidet. Each magazine comes in its original packaging with Factory Lifetime warranty stated on its insert. These are the last Pro-Mags, and no one else produces magazines for the Firestar Plus pistols. We’re offering what few we have, each for only $ 49.00. Not for sale to residents of New York City. Any magazine deliveries into New York City require written permission of the Police Commissioner, so we cannot ship magazines into any of the six boroughs or 176 some odd zip codes, per NYC Code 10-131.10. Civilian residents of New York State are legally enjoined from loading more than 7 rounds into any magazine.
