For sale we have an 1891 Argentine Mauser in 7.65 Argentine. This rifle is in all original military configuration with all matching serial numbers on bolt, receiver, barrel, stock, and bottom of magazine – M8005. This is a very clean representation of the Argentine Mauser’s, and the original walnut stock has the serial number and cartouche very proud and legible. The bluing is all excellent and deep, including the fire-blued trigger, magazine follower and bolt release on left side of the receiver. Bore and chamber are excellent, as well. The crest on the front receiver ring is gone, which is pretty normal on these guns. Barrel is 29.5” with correct battle sights, bayonet lug, and sling swivels, cleaning rod is intact, and steel buttplate still has very strong bluing. INVENTORY NUMBER: 8005
