HG3712 Armscor of the Philippines launched its business the same year we did, 1952; but it was a little over a decade before we began carrying their products. We have had positive experience with Filipino firearms products, even more so than their Brazilian counterparts. Now, Armscor has partnered with Howa Importer Legacy Sports to bring their Citadel line of 1911 type pistols with Custom Shop Features. Photos show the first Citadel Compact, that we received, and it is a solid, slick, attractive pistol throughout. We refer to these as Officer Size, following Colt, who followed Detonics, and introduced a similar compact about 15 years ago. Barrel is Detonics styling, bull nose heavy barrel with built in bushing and full length stainless guide rod that has a disassembly pin aperture. The barrel and guide rod configuration, with double coil springs, enables the pistol to function correctly with a short barrel; but as we learned with the early Detonics Combat Masters, this configuration produces more accuracy that conventional 1911 type pistols. Magazines furnished are three ACT-Mag Italian blue steel body 7 rounders, and any Colt Officer size magazine will fit. In fact, any 1911 magazine will fit with some protrusion. Finish is classic Satin Nickel, or what we used to call Electroless 30 years ago. Custom grade furniture is attractive black matte; equipment includes Beavertail Grip Safety, Skeleton Commander style hammer, serrated metal trigger, extended cleat-serrated magazine release, widened and beveled ejector port. Grips are Double Diamond cut-checkered Filipino hardwood. Weight is 32 1/2 ounces empty. Finish is durable parkerized. Sights are low profile conventional drift rear and stake-on front. This pistol has the exact same grip frame size as the Colt Officer's ACP, so there are many different grip styles available. This one's catalog number is CIT45CSPBN. This specimen comes to us from one of our friends in Illinois, who traded it for a rimfire revolver. Surface detractions are negligible, only slide contact streaking on the barrel surface and a faint amount of whitening on the edges of the sights and Mainspring Housing. We rate it as Near Mint in Box; the unlabeled original box, papers, hang tag, and fired brass case from February 2010 are all included. Photos should confirm that well enough. This pistol is Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent; and to our knowledge, it has been fired fewer than 50 times. Replacement pricing on similarly configured pistols ranges upwards of $2,000 apiece in many instances; this specific variant is not easy to come by, and replacement pricing on it with only two magazines is upwards of $700 in our area, if a person can even find one. Own the Citadel Compact in the photos for only $ 539.00

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
