From a local estate sale a 1873 Smith's Patent 32 cal rim fire revolver with beaded holster, two rounds of ammo and wooden, glass front, lockable display case. There were only a few hundered of this model pistol made (this is #635) and this pistol is in very good, fully functional, condition. The metal is aged and smooth, the front sight is a brass blade, the hammer cocks and has a very strong hammer spring, the cylinder rotates very precisely and the trigger functions as it should. The wood grips are not cracked or chipped but do have numerous dents and dings from it's 130 plus years of use (see photos). At the sale they said the holster was made from brain tanned deer skin and is beaded in a Sioux indian pattern. The holster has no damage or stains. I am not a Indian artifact collector nor am I very knowledgeable about Indian artifacts. I have looked very closely at this item and it appears old to my untrained eye. It is obvious that the gun is an original but since the only way I have of authenticating the holster is my own personal inspection I offer it with a 100% refund if it does not live up to your expectations return it for a full and speedy refund. Satisfaction guaranteed (see my feed back). No Reserve. We trade guns.Cashiers check or money order only. No FFL required. Shipping by UPS $35.00 plus insurance (optional).
