Shoulder flip up buttstock with cleaning kit door. No cleaning kit. Many Springfield Armory and CMP US GI parts have been replaced including gas system, sights, trigger assy and op rod. Easily accepts "stripper" clips. I have some available for an additional cost. Absolutely a great gun, very reliable, no jams ever, very accurate. I used this rifle to qualify as "expert" in upstate NY, beating out many National Match rifles. Great deer hunter, shooting deer on the run, it swings so easily and comfortably.
