Construction is cut checkered walnut, with nickel plated brass logo medallions, brass escutcheons and steel or brass screw. These grips fit any Medium Frame Smith & Wesson Post World War II Revolver that has a Square Butt Grip Frame. That includes Models 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 45, 48, 56, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 581, 586, 617, 648, 681 and 686 in square butt grip frame only, mostly manufactured prior to 1996. Model 12 owners may need a substantial amount of fitting, since many of the Model 12s have thinner-than-normal grip frames.
