The finish is all original and there is very little flaking of the Nickel finish. This Colt is mechanically excellent and the bore and chambers are very fine! The barrel is 7.5 inches and the caliber is 45 LC. Please notice in the pictures that one side of the cylinder has very little wear while the other side does show thinning (not flaking) of the nickel plating.
