Price: $670.00 This is a Colt Detective Special with a three inch barrel. It was made in 1951 and could pass for new. The old deep Colt finish still gleams blue and the Walnut with silver Medalion grips show no wear or damage. The bore is pristine and the chambers show no sign of ever being fired. The frame is s round butt with fixed sights and a smooth topstrap. The trigger is blue with smooth serreations and the hammer is polished on the sides and blued on top. This model of the Detective Special was a favorite of NYPD cops that followed Chic Gaylord's advice.
