Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: No Returns Description: NO FFL REQUIRED. This is a very nice condition antique Winchester 1886 for sale chambered in 38-56 caliber. The barrel length is 26 inches long and this was manufactured in 1891. The bore is in great shape with no rust or pitting at all. All rifling visible and clean. The finish on the octagonal barrel is in good shape with plenty left and some has turned to brown. The receiver/lever/loading gate still retains about 10-20% of the color casing, but it is light. The stock is structurally excellent. There is just normal wear for a gun this old. There are some notches on the top of the stock marking kills or some sort. Everything is original on this rifle except for the front sight which has been replaced by a period correct sight. This item is for sale in my retail store and could be sold while the ad is active.
