This is a transition rifle made in 1943 during World War 2.It has the Winchester logo on the upper tang as well as the tang sight screw, checkered prewar hammer,sereated butt plate and long wood of the earlier models as well as the later front ramp sight and rear elevation sight. The reciever rates approx 98.5 to 99% blue.The barrel and tube rate about the same. The wood is excellant retaining all its original finish. The bore is pristine mirror bright with no corosion and the mechanics are perfect. This is a real nice well cared for WW2 era 94 carbine .
