Description: This is a superb 16 gauge, 26" (Original, not cut, as noted on factory letter) small bore Philly gun with EJECTORS and double triggers. I purchased this gun in 2011 from Ivory Beads Shotguns in Southern California before the owner retired and closed the business. This gun came out of a private estate collection where each one of the guns (Foxes and Parkers) were all meticulously restored. The owner sent all of the bluing and case coloring work to Turnbull. Everything on this gun is beautifully detailed. The screws all point north south. This is just a jaw dropping gorgeous gun. The stock looks as new with one or two very tiny scratches. Case coloring and bluing are next to perfect.

Barrels are chocked IC & M. Length of pull is about 13.25". The ejectors are very strong and this locks up VERY tight. Lever is well positioned and very, very solid. Bores are smooth and mirror-like.

The gun is currently fitted with a Fox Utica forend wood (Iron is original and serial numbers match) and this Utica wood is believed to be an old re-fit. The style of the later fox wood forends is slightly different than the earlier Philly wood. It does not have serial numbers, and I was told it was likely sent back to the Fox factory for a cracked forend later on in its life. The owner also included an original philly wood forend that would just need to be fitted to the iron (it is the correct size and shape including the rounded notch) and finished if desired. I never got around to this and will also include this forend.

This is a really beautiful showpiece in a rare configuration.

Shipping Notes: Shipping via UPS or USPS to your FFL. Make sure your FFL will take a shipment from a private seller. I have done this very easily in the past, and just need to verify their number with the ATF before shipment.
