Case pattern 3254 Yellow Handled Trapper. From its 6 dot, Circle C style tang marking, it was manufactured in 1984. Both blades are full width, sharpened no more than twice by our estimate. Note the toning on the blades, light scouring on the handle panels, and recess drawing of the outer handle panel rivets. We rate it as Very Good, close to Excellent, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. The Trapper, of course, measures a full 4 inches closed with a main California Clip pattern blade augmented by an extended spey pattern or flesh blade, both of which measure 3 3/8 inches from heel to point. Both blades are chrome vanadium, not stainless. The Yellow Handled Trappers have never been abundant, and this is one of the most traditional knives every produced. Liners are traditional solid brass.
