In spite of post-election inflation, here is still one of the best buys on the used gun market in the US nowadays, a well maintained West German Police sidearm in Very Good, close to Excellent, condition. It comes in an original factory issue blue box with an extra magazine. The principal difference between the P6 and the US marketed P225 is the slotted-spur commander style hammer. Everything else is the same. This P6 is traditional double action; long smooth double action pull on the first shot, and classic crisp Sig-Sauer single action pull from the cocked position. This one’s single action pull measures a very crisp 4 5/8 pounds with negligible creep. As the photos show, this Sig has Century Arms’s very inconspicuous import stamp on the left side of the frame, and the date of manufacture on the forward right side of the slide. Surface detractions only amount to normal duty holster contact wear, with some moderate scuffing on the right grip panel. Magazine floorplates show some contact wear, but the magazine bodies have strong original finish. We rate this one as Very Good to Excellent since the finish is 85 to 90 percent intact by our estimate. There is only moderate holster contact weakening to the upper left rear area of the slide, and small white streaks on the forward and muzzle edges. Photos, however, should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. This pistol is excellent mechanically. Firing evidence is only moderate as the photo of the barrel surface shows where the slide bushing has contacted the barrel. Note the similar light slide contact evidence on the chamber area surfaces at the back of the barrel. Bore and mechanism are clean and excellent. We have test fired this weapon. It cycled two magazines full of Federal American Eagle ball ammo flawlessly, but it did not like hollowpoints, neither Federal Hydra-Shok hollowpoint or PMC Starfire hollowpoint. Specs are: traditional double and single action with decocker; internal firing pin block safety that permits firing only with the trigger pulled all the way; weight empty 28 oz; 8 shot magazine capacity / 8+1 round capacity; barrel length 3 ¾ inches; drift-windage adjustable front and rear black matte sights; steel guide rod and Sig braided recoil spring. It comes with one of its Department’s distinctive swivel duty holsters and brown leather pouch for the extra magazine as the photos show. This fine Sig P-6 is historically significant for its service in Cold War era divided Germany, and its slide is marked, Made in W. Germany. It is also eminently serviceable and attractive for its peerless German Sig manufacture. Own it for only $419.95. Buyers please note we will be happy to prepay freight, even to our friends in CA, AK, and HI, if the buyer only wants one magazine. The magazines for these bring premium prices. NOT FOR SALE TO MASSACHUSETTS DESTINATIONS.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
