This is a Model 1894 in .30WCF, with half round barrel and shotgun butt stock, made about 1913 (serial #674xxx). The barrel is 20" long, which qualifies it as a short rifle, with a half magazine. The front sight is in the right place and the flat muzzle looks right. The bore is well used but shootable, with no rings or holes. The wood is in good shape with shallow wear marks and some staining on the butt stock. The butt plate is the later "serrated" (horizontal grooves) style. The receiver is bare of all original finish and at least the hammer screw looks to be a replacement. Barrel finish is well into patina, but neither has any serious pitting. It has a standard factory rear sight and a special order or replaced front sight of the proper vintage. The action is tight and smooth. All in all, this is a very nice '94 with several special features. It is too late a gun to letter. We can take VISA or MasterCard for an additional 2% fee.
