Description:
By the 1960s, Imperial Cutlery owned and produced the U.S. Made Schrade knives. Here is one of their best products ever to bear the Imperial name. Case counterpart pattern is 6265, the large folding hunter with clip blade and long spey or skinning blade. Resemblance to the Old Timer folding hunter is no accident; except for this one having a brighter chrome plating on its blades, they are the exact same knife. Note that the logo carries the old Shapleigh Hardware Diamond Edge stamping, piracy that probably went unchallenged at the time. Overall length on this Imperial Hunter is 5 1/2 inches; and the blades measure 4 1/8 inches from point to heel on the clip blade, and a bit less on the skinner blade. Full length opened is 9 1/4 inches. Scouring to the blade surfaces is extensive with some evidence of 2 or 3 flat sharpening; chrome finish, however, is majority full strength by our estimate. We also estimate that the blades are over 95 percent original width. Handle panels, of course, are imitation bone soft composite like the Schrades of the period. Bolsters are solid Nickel plated, and liners are brass. We classify this Imperial DE as Very Good, but photos ought to suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade form themselves. It is Excellent mechanically, backspring strength is good. Less popular than its near-identical Schrade siblings, this Imperial is also a rarer knife. We’re offering it for only $ 39.95. Not for sale to civilians in Chicago, New York City, or any jurisdiction where prohibited. Upstate New York residents required to furnish copy of their hunting license. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
