This Micro Uzi SMG started life as a brand new IMI Uzi pistol ( serial #UP-06877 ) imported by Action Arms of Philadelphia, PA. The Uzi pistol and B&G bolt were sent to Rex at Vector Arms in North Salt Lake City, Utah to be properly converted to full Micro Uzi open-bolt specifications including; full-auto lower, correct factory folding wire stock welded to frame and bayonet lug welded on frame under barrel to accommodate attachment of a quick-detach knurled steel vertical grip to assist with control. The Micro Uzi was then stamped with "Vector Arms, NSL, UT" and refinished to new condition. It has not been fired since Vector performed the conversion. Since both the Mini Uzi and the Micro Uzi utilize the same size bolt, any NFA registered full-auto bolt can legally be moved to any other Micro Uzi or Mini Uzi host receiver. With this set up you can quite literally have both a Micro Uzi and a Mini Uzi for little more than the cost of a Mini Uzi alone ( and only one $200 NFA tax ). This is a similar process to when someone moves a registered H&K sear amongst several H&K full-auto weapons -- except, since H&K barrels are not readily detachable, any of the H&K host weapons with barrels under 16.0" must be registered as a short barreled rifle ( SBR ) if they're separated from their registered sear. Since it is the full-auto Uzi bolt that is registered with ATF as the machine gun ( not the host receiver ), by placing the registered bolt within either a Micro or Mini Uzi host firearm that also happens be a short barreled rifle ( SBR ), the machine gun designation of the registered bolt takes precedence over the SBR designation of the host firearm and precludes the necessity of registering the host firearm as an SBR -- thus saving the owner the hassle of registering the host firearm as an SBR as well as saving the owner the $200 NFA transfer tax for an SBR. A registered Uzi sear does not allow for this rapid movement between two host Firearms. To my knowledge, there are no transferable registered receiver Micro-Uzis available. Assuming that both the Mini Uzi and Micro Uzi host firearms are properly configured to SMG specification with folding stocks and short barrels, all one need do to preclude the $200 cost of registering each host firearm as a short barreled rifle is to remove the short barrel ( which takes under a minute ) from which ever host firearm does not presently contain the registered bolt. Purchasing this registered Uzi bolt is a very convenient and affordable way to own both a full-auto Micro Uzi and a full-auto Mini Uzi for $6,000+ less then what it would cost to buy both a Mini and Micro SMG separately. Included are four magazines ( one new OEM 32rd magazine and three used/excellent OEM 25rd magazines ), a robust quick-detach knurled steel vertical front grip ( the vertical grip is a MUST in controlling the Micro Uzi on full-auto fire as there is literally no forend on a Micro Uzi to hold on too ), a quick detach Picatinny rail adapter bracket ( the bracket attaches to the bayonet lug and the steel vertical grip attaches to the bracket -- this allows the vertical grip to be positioned far enough forward from the trigger guard to allow for a secure grip ), the original Uzi pistol blue plastic storage case and the original Vector box. The registered B&G bolt currently resides on a Form 3 in NH. Will trade this package as partial payment toward a registered Fleming H&K full-auto sear or HK MP5 with Fleming sear.
