That indicates demo status, probably a showgirl with Smith & Wesson’s sales reps. It comes with its original issue, never opened Mag-Pul 30 Shot magazine, instruction manual, sight adjustment card, and never executed factory registration card. Our photographer has added a new Tapco 30 rounder, total of 2 Magazines. Surface detractions are minimal; all we see is cable contact streaking around the trigger guard area. We rate it as Near Mint in Box, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent, and we do not believe it has been fired since it left the factory. Veteran shoppers will note that the receiver lacks a forward bolt assist. In our minds, it comes closest of all recent descendants to the Vietnam Era M-16, and thus is more traditional. Also, absent from the factory blurb, is chrome lined barrel, which this one is not. We have had superior accuracy from the absence of chrome lining in the Del-ton rifles, and this one will follow that example as well; chrome lining in a rifle barrel always adversely affects accuracy.
