HG5719 From one of our local upstanding Texi-can Tennessee families comes this very attractive Smith & Wesson .357 Military & Police Stainless, numbered model 65, first engineering change, in its standard service configuration: square butt grip frame; 4 inch pinned heavy barrel; .265 serrated face service trigger in satin stainless, with matching hammer nose style hammer; and period correct Safariland finger groove combat K-Square grips. Type is traditional single and double action revolver with transfer bar internal safety mechanism; weight empty 37 ounces; capacity six rounds of .38 Special or .357 Magnum ammunition interchangeably; fixed notch rear sight that is integral to the frame, matte non-glare stainless barrel rib and serrated ramp stainless front sight. This is a well preserved civilian owned revolver whose owner proudly polished it to bright stainless and outfitted it with the Safariland grips some time during the 1980s. Serial number prefix is 1D, low 300,000 range; so this revolver was manufactured about midyear of 1978. Barrel has is secured into the frame with the classic Bangor Punta era steel pin. Its detractions are minimal, surface scouring on the muzzle sides with some very inconspicuous superficial pitting on the left rear side of the frame that is covered by its grips. We rate it as Very Good / polished; but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is Excellent mechanically. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel’s forcing cone is moderate, a thin shallow groove that traverses about 2/3 of the width of the top strap. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap is a tight .004. Lateral play to the cylinder is moderate, no more than 2mm total with the trigger relaxed, and even less with the trigger fully depressed. Double action trigger pull is very smooth and consistent, and the hammer travels an additional 10 degrees on all six positions after the cylinder times. On single action, the hammer travels fully 25 degrees on all six after the cylinder times; and the single action trigger pull is a crisp 3 7/8 pounds. Bore, cylinder chambers and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We are including a North Carolina Dept. of Corrections period correct left hand holster. We’re offering this very nice Texi-Tennessee Model 65 for only $ 369.95. Not transferable to civilians in California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
