These fine grips are actually left over from the demise of the Colt D Frame revolvers in the mid 1990s. These will fit both grip frame lengths of the D frame, including models Cobra, Diamondback, Agent, and Detective Special. Sile Grips were an essential aftermarket product during the heyday of the D Frame Colts, from the late 1960s until the late 1980s, and these are all period correct for the Colts. Since the only surviving clone is the Philippine-made Armscor .38 Specials, we tried a set and lo and behold, they work with minimal labor, simply a recess for the slightly-differently-positioned grip frame stud. Photos show a set on one of the Armscors. The M206 Armscor, by the way, is not a Colt, but it is a decent quality .38 Special and only sells for about 1/3 of what a Colt will command pricewise.
