Made in 1950, serial number 22714A has a 24-inch barrel with integral hooded front ramp sight, adjustable (drift windage and elevator) rear sight, untapped receiver, two new aftermarket magazines, sling loops and a steel butt plate. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 6.2 pounds and length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: The bore is bright and strong, with what appear to be a few very light horizontal tooling marks visible under magnification. Blue is approximately 80 percent, with small areas of thinning on the barrel, a small area of roughness on the left side of the front ring and a few freckles on the rear of the receiver near the bolt handle. The bolt handle/knob and the trigger guard have also thinned, with the guard showing a few freckles. The stock is approximately 70 percent, mostly owing to generally-distributed impressions and scratches, along with an area of discoloration on the left side at the butt.
