It is Mossberg’s MVP chambered in .223 that accepts AR15 / M16 / M4 Magazines. This is the 27748, Flex Edition, with M4 / C-AR type buttstock. Manufacturer and warrantor is O.F. Mossberg & Sons of New Haven, CT, and Eagle Pass, TX. Type is detachable magazine bolt action high powered rifle, with a 75 degree throw. Construction is steel barrel assembly, bolt assembly, receiver, trigger, and internal parts with alloy scope mounts and magazine well assembly; and with polymer trigger guard. Chambering is .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO interchangeably. Magazine is 10 shot factory Mossberg MMR, but this rifle will accept any AR15 Magazine like the Colt SP62328 thirty rounder in the photos. Trigger is .240 steel LBA type with center set blade feature; pull is 3 pound vicinity with negligible to minimal felt creep or overtravel. Safety is very quiet, mounted on the right side behind the bolt handle. Main stock is black textured hardwood; collapsible buttstock is removable Flex® six position M4 type, polymer assembly mounted onto an alloy body main tube.
