Colt Pocket Model Navy, There are many names for these rare Colts, Basically there the 1849 pocket model with a 5 shot 36 caliber cylinder instead of the 31 caliber 6 shot cylinder, some call them the 1862 pocket navy and others the 1865 pocket pistol. This one has the desireable 61/2 inch octagon barrell and its serial number is 229.The finish is mostly gone, lite surface pitting scattered around there is a fair amount of cylinder scene(25%), the action works good, all the serial numbers match. There is about 25% of the original varnish on the grips. Overall its a very appealing Colt, made in 1861.
