Here is a millennial year specimen of Ruger's tried-and-true workhorse Mini 14, Ruger #5817 Mini 14 Stainless Ranch, letter code KMini-14/20P. Its 196- serial number prefix dates it to the Millennial Year, 2000. This K-Mini 14 is stainless steel, with synthetic stock and handguard. It features a carbine length 18 1/2 inch 1:9 twist barrel with stepped blade front sight with folding ghost ring rear sight aperture. This is also a Ranch Rifle variant, but it does not have its Ruger Steel Scope Rings. Ruger Rings are commonly available, however. Overall length is 38 inches, and weight empty is 7 pounds. It comes with two USA brand nickel steel 20 round magazines. This one comes to us from one of the best Texas traders we know, and it has only dispatched a few jackrabbits, coyotes, and prairie dogs. This Ruger will shoot anything you feed it, from steel case Russian to the finest Federal Match .223 ammo. It has negligible surface scouring to its synthetic stock and buffing streaks to its stainless metal surfaces. We classify it as Excellent finishwise, since less than 10 percent of its surfaces are affected by any contact evidence by oure estimate. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are bright, clean, and excellent. Photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
