The GLOCK 23C has milled slots in the slide and barrel just behind the front sight. These slots are cut into a "V" pattern to vent the gasses away from the front sight to reduce blackening of the sight. This "V" pattern does an incredible job of reducing muzzle flip and allows fast target acquisition for your second and remaining shots. I tell ya, these guns have made me a better shot and they are a blast to shoot at night. They really light up. The GLOCK 23C is perfect for concealed carry. Put the 23C in a SOB (small-of-back)_holster and untuck your shirt-perfect! The GLOCK 23C is chambered for the 40S&W cartridge and 2-13rd magazines are supplied. 15rd Glock 22 mags work, too. They just hang out of the grip frame a little.
