It is beautifully hand engraved. It has eagles on each side of the receiver and scroll work the length of the top and a Masonic Symbol on the bottom of the receiver that covers the lift gate area. The workmanship denotes the hours spent hand engraving the designs the old school way (no mechanical tools) – this is a very expensive process and labor intensive. If the buyer is not into the Masonic Symbol the lift gate could be replaced or maybe even buffed out. It has had probably 4-5 boxes of shells shot from it. It is in near new condition and comes with original box and papers. It has factory sling swivels. I bought it from him a few months ago, but have decided it’s too nice to carry. I didn’t polish the brass – I think it looks nice with a little patina. The gun works fine. Please e-mail any questions or if you’d like to see more pictures.
