German made pocket knives began market assertiveness in the late 1960s, alongside rapidly inflating prices in all markets, especially the pocket knife collectors markets. Here is an excellent German reintroduction of the classic Remington Scout Knife in genuine brown bone, manufactured by Krusius Germany. Overall length closed is 3 5/8 inches, equal end jack styling, with 2 3/4 inch old style long drag spear pattern main blade. It has a total of four blades, including a reverse side pen blade, screwdriver / bottle opener, and hookbill can opener blade. This knife has never been used or sharpened, and its only surface detractions are faint spottiness on the upper portions of the blade, and a few spots of light pitting to the otherwise shiny backsprings. The words Drink Coca-Cola are inked on the Spear blade. Our best guess is that this was a special presentation knife commissioned by one of the independent Coca-Cola bottlers in Western Kentucky or Northwest Tennessee, perhaps Union City TN, some time in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
