Since that time it has never been fired or used; rather it has remained in a climate controlled safe for the last 17 years. At the time of it's restoration, all the metal was completely reblued using the expensive rust bluing process. In addition, the buttstock and forearm were completely refinished, and a new reproduction Winchester solid red recoil pad was installed. Finally, all internal parts were examined by a professional Simmons gunsmith, and any worn parts were replaced and refitted with new ones as necessary. As a result, the shotgun listed for sale here is virtually brand new, yet retains the high quality craftsmanship that Winchester Model-12 shotguns exhibited during their early manufacturing years. This shotgun is in absolutely mint condition, with no scratches, dings or other marks anywhere on the wood or metal. A flat rate fee of $30 is charged for shipping anywhere in the Continental USA.
