Here are factory Smith & Wesson replacement grips to fit any full size metal frame Smith & Wesson Third Generation Pistol chambered in .45 ACP or 10mm caliber. Models included are 4506 4566 4576 4586 and the TSW Variants with those numbers; and 1006, 1066, and 1086 - so long as the pistol has a full size grip frame and 8 shot magazine capacity for .45 ACP or 9 shot for 10mm caliber. Manufacturer is Smith & Wesson of Springfield, Massachusetts; construction is high impact polymer, one piece. These grips will Not fit compact models 4516, 4513, 4013, 457, or a Colt 1911, or a 1959 Edsel Gear Shift Lever. These came to us from a Smith & Wesson Department trade, from very brief service, and long storage, with municipal security in the State of Massachusetts. Issue weapons were 4566 TSW, but many of the officers soon installed Hogue Monogrips, so surface wear is moderate to minimal, as the photos show, some with scouring on their right side near the backstrap area. We rate them all as Very Good, close to Excellent, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves, and buyer will receive one of the grips from the photos. This is the straight variant, straight backstrap area that contains the Pistol’s Mainspring. These are relatively easy to install, simply by removing the Hogue Grips’s Screws or by pushing out the original retaining pin, and a pin will be required and that is not something that we stock, for any buyers who want to replace their Hogues. The Hogue screws will Not work on these.
