Extremely rare Fox Skeet and Upland ejector. 12 gauge / 26 inch barrels. 7 1/4 lb. This is the seldom encountered straight grip, ejector Sterlingworth marketed by Savage for a couple years in the the 1930s. This is THE ONLY original straight grip sterlingworth model. Bluebook says "extreme rarity precludes accurate valuation" but I have placed a value on it! A factory letter from Savage, confirming the specs and the model comes with this shotgun. Chokes are skeet and skeet (about .010 x .015). 25% case colors remain, and about 85% bluing. Gun is very tight. Wood is very good, probably refinished at some point. Vintage NoShoc pad - probably original. Two triggers, 14 3/4 LOP, 1 1/2 drop at comb, 2 1/4 drop at heel. 2 3/4 inch chambers. Bores are perfect. Aother Fox from my personal collection. No junky
guns! NOTE: RECOIL PAD IS NOT A JOSTAM IT IS A (VINTAGE) NO SHOC AND IT IS CORRECT ACCORDING TO LETTER.
Must be returned in as sent condition, insured and mailed at buyer's expense.
